Dental Crowns in South Loop, Chicago

A Personalized Approach to Dental Restoration

Dental crowns are designed to strengthen and shield your teeth from damage when they are weak, fractured, or decaying by fitting over your entire tooth like a cap. Crowns are typically used when a tooth is significantly damaged or cracked and cannot be effectively repaired with a simple filling, or over a largely stained and discolored tooth. They are also placed over root-canal treated teeth to strengthen them and prevent fracture.

What Are Dental Crowns and Bridges?

A dental bridge is a prosthesis that fills gaps left by one or two missing teeth by taking support from the neighboring teeth. A bridge involves trimming of teeth adjacent to the missing ones and placing crowns over them to hold and support the artificial teeth placed in the missing region, improving appearance and function. It can replace a removable partial denture, boosting your confidence.
